Program Description:

The goal of AIU Online's Associate of Business Administration in Medical Billing and Coding program is to give students an opportunity to learn about topics such as medical vocabulary, content components of health records, and health information technology systems. During the course of study, students have the opportunity to learn the skills needed to run an efficient allied or medical health office; analyze, store, and interpret health information records; and be comfortable with coding systems used for insurance purposes and medical services billing.
